In a tourny with the blinds 100/200. * players at the final table. seat 4 raises to 2000 prefop. seat 6 goes all in with his last 3100. Is the action frozen at this point untill after the flop, because the all in could not make the full raise. Or are the players yet to go able to reraise

Asked by pokerbrat696 on Mar 17.

Yes, any player who hasn’t acted yet may re-raise, call or fold. For example, with the full bet rule in effect, a player opens the betting round for $20, and the next player has a total stake of $30. He may raise to $30, declaring himself all in, but this does not constitute a "real" raise, in the following sense: if a third player now calls the $30, and the first player's turn to act comes up, he may now call the additional $10, but he does not have the right to re-raise further. The all-in player's pseudo-raise was really just a call with some extra money, and the third player's call was just a call, so the initial opener's bet was simply called by both remaining players, closing the betting round (even though he must still equalize the money by putting in the additional $10).

In addition to MasterCard payment options, there is also the availability of paying by additional options such as PayPal or Electronic Check. If you had a MasterCard on file with us in the past, you will have to enter your new MasterCard information in the epayment system to be billed moving forward. All players are encouraged to fund their account with a Visa, American Express or Discover card payment option whenever possible. You are able to enter your Visa, American Express or Discover Card payment information with us at www.spadeclub.com/account/manage-billing-info. If these card types are not an option for you, the above epayment option is suggested.

I read the weekly tips, this week on should you play before the flop. At the end of the article it tells you to click the button, I am assuming to get more information on the tip. I click the button and it takes me to the Spade Club Practice Makes Poker Perfect screen. Is there any more to the article on the tip?

Asked by cardiffdog on Mar 04.

You should make sure you are completely signed in. If you see a "Member Sign-In" button in the upper right hand side of that page, you are not completely signed in. Try clicking on that link and signing into your premium account to view the Poker Tips section of the Academy section.

Asked by ReBuySexual on Feb 24.

Here are 3 blogs about bluffing. http://www.spadeclub.com/profile/edit-blog-post/15040 http://www.spadeclub.com/profile/edit-blog-post/15077 http://www.spadeclub.com/profile/edit-blog-post/14044 Whenever you get caught bluffing you risk being called a donkey. NEVER worry about that. When it works it was the correct play and yes the other is also true.

Hey Kenny. We ran into an unusual situation last Wed. playing in a live tourney at Winstar Casino. We were breaking down a table to go to two tables. Another player and myself we moved to a table where both upcoming blinds were ko'ed the previous hand. I was placed in the bb seat and the other in the sb seat. How should be the blinds and why? T.J. Cloutier was at the table and i think he said we should both be the bb and sb the next two hands.

Asked by Steelbender on Feb 08.

The TDA rule #5- Breaking Tables Players going from a broken table to fill in seats assume the rights and responsibilities of the position. They can get the big blind, the small blind, or the button. The only place they cannot get a hand is between the small blind and the button

Hey Kenny, What do you do when you are running bad? I mean when your reads are dead on and you shove it in and get called only to lose to one a miracle out. I am not just talking here on this site. Any advice will help, thanks.

Asked by mikey7756 on Feb 03.

Bad runs happened to everybody. When you play for long enough, everyone’s luck runs bad. The key is to not change your style and begin playing bad yourself. I’ve watched good players run bad for so long that they start to actually play differently. They watch bad hands win so often that they start to play weak hands (like ace-rag) as if they are pocket aces. A poker player once told me, “The only control we have is how we put our money in the pot. Do your job and you’ll win in the long run.” One thing he never told me was how long the bad run would last.

please settle this bet ,which is better low hand in omaha 8 or better .....8532A or 65432 and why/thanks

Asked by kenkats on Jan 24.

The 6 low is better than the 8 low. Straights and flushes don't matter. In 2-7 draw low ball and KC Razz are the only 2 games where straight and flushes hurt you.
