POKER GAMES:
I mostly play NLHE, live 1/2 & 2/5 cash games and online tourneys. I'm learning Omaha High and I really like the PLO/8 tourneys. Would love to see some Crazy Pineapple and Tahoe games here on SC.
POKER PLAYERS:
Gus Hansen is my fave player for his unique approach to the game. Doyle Brunson is the master, Daniel Negreanu is funny & brilliant, Patrik Antonius is a stone faced killer, and Tom Dwan is the most enigmatic player I've ever watched.

CASINOS:
Winstar in Oklahoma, it's close to home and with 46 tables there's always a seat with my name on it ~ MGM, Caesars, Venetian in Las Vegas ~ Inn of the Mountain Gods in Ruidoso, NM.
ACTIVITIES:
Poker takes a big chunk of my spare time, but I also like to hang out with the family, read, travel and experiment with residential architecture & landscape. I am a floral designer by trade (owned a florist shop for several years) & still do weddings.
MOVIES:
Enchanted April, beautiful film about 4 very different women renting a house in Italy for the summer ~ Fight Club, too cool ~ Rounders, of course ~ K-Pax, obscure flick with K. Spacey ~ Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House, classic with Cary Grant
TV SHOWS:
I got hooked on Dark Blue & hope it gets picked up ~ Lie To Me ~ House ~ Lost ~ Jeopardy ~ Dog Whisperer ~ HSPoker, PAD and most of the WSOP & WPT events ~ and I never get tired of Seinfeld.
BOOKS:
I've reviewed a few of my fave poker books on my blogs. Fiction authors include; M. Crichton, J. Grisham, D. Koontz., S.K. Penman and D. Preston & L. Child. I also read biographies, residential design, non-fiction, finance, usually 2-3 simultaneously.
MUSIC:
Classic rock, mostly Southern & British rock ~ Jazz, blues & old Motown ~ Nickleback, Diana Krall, Chris Botti, Nora Jones, Van Morrison and Michael Buble ~ Oh, and a little Andrea Bocelli on chilly winter nights.

Everything's fine ... just been kind of busy and doing multiple things while I'm playing. Plus been travelling and not on a lot, so I'm kind of in the "shadows" if you will. No worries though ... thanks for asking.

I had the great pleasure of playing 2 HU matches against Mistershifty NL and a Game of RAZZ, he is a very kind person taking the time to play a game just for fun. If it haven't been for your tourney I would never have asked if he would like to play a HU match and I was surprised that he was ready right on the spot. I have really learned a lot playing against all the various types of opponent in the tourney.

Lol, just came to your profile to check your blogs. The comment below has me lmao. Sammy Farha wrote a whole book on PLO. It most definitely did not say "play any four cards". The book had chapters, paragraphs and sentences and was full of strategy.
TY, Pam,You give me way too much credit.Tx hldm is 75% luck & 25% skill,but if you play the 25% skill at 100% all the time(almost impossible) you will be a successfull hldm player. PLO is 90% luck & 10% skill.The variables are so extensive that no one can be sure of their play. Sammy Farha is considered one of the best PLO players anywhere.Why? Because he plays almost every hand and lets the cards fall where they may.Trying to play premium hands leads to being blinde out.
