Urgent Help Needed
By BallsASteelSep 09, 08 05:31 AM

I am going to be writing a column on poker styles later this week. I have a perception of how I play, but others have their perseption of how I play. If I could have anyone and everyone share with me their notes or whatever the would be willing to share about their perspective on my playing style, this will help me in writing this column much more effectively. I cannot do it without your help. I share all my info in these columns, I'd really appreciate it if ya'll returned the favor thanks.

I think that's one of the best lines you can tell another player, "I've seen people out flop you, but I haven't seen them out play you." Dang, thanks for that Tex. Although, I can tell you, I make my share of mistakes. I greatly appreciate the input gang. As a reward, I will try to encapsulate my thoughts on how each of you play. Watch your emails. It may take me a little while to do, though as I have a stomach bug right now. Arrrgh.
OK boss will give you a novas perspective. My thought was just as johtm, tight aggressive. You play solid poker and do choose your battles; you fold when you truly think your beat and don't often take a stab at a pot unless you figure it's yours. Most of the times you pick up the pot you’re going after. It seems you flush out the strength of the other players and have a good idea what you are up against and they don't bluff you out either. I have seen other players out flop you but not out pla
None of my comments yesterday seemed to stay posted. Balls I play you at the tables as a Tight aggressive player, the style I prefer myself. You admittedlly express fold, so you choose your starting hands with discretion. You watch your position and pick up pots when weakness is shown. You don't show down with rags, so either you are in control of the hand or fold. Don't have many finals with you, so thats all I got....Hope it helps.
Seriously Balls, I think you are tight aggresive. I don't often see you play out of position unless you have a great starting hand. (you already admit to expressing it) You don't show down with rags so either you have it or you fold. Never seen you slow play, your oppenents pay before and after the flop. Since you have position, they pay regardless if you hit, when weakness is shown. Don't have many finals with you, so thats all I got....Hope it helps.
Wish I was qualified to answer your question boss; besides I just keep looking at your cool hat and forget my game.
Ivanisi, I am a big believer in playing position. That is why this week I ran down and bought a Kama Sutra. I think it will help my game tremendously. Not my poker game mind you.... But, now you know why I have the hat.
LMAO- you slay me ivanisi. I really think you beleive that lol. Any way BAS, I haven't really played too much against you, usually shortly after your arrival at my table I'm out of the game. Hmmm, maybe there is something LOL
Well I have played with you on many occassions and here are my notes (yes I take notes on everyone for I am ISI). I have noticed that depending on where you sit , you seem to play the same. For instance I was at your table one night and you were on my monitors 3 o clock position, I clicked the arrows and brought you to 6 oclock. No change. I pondered this for awhile and tried 9oclock. To my disbelief, you were exactly the same. I started wandering if maybe you were one of those urban legend bots
