I just wanted to say THANKS AGAIN to everyone who rooted for me…this time at the 5k weekly final table! Even you, Jackie, who made sure to tell everyone to call me every single time I was all in, lol. And even after you made sure to let the rest of the observers know that YOU managed to get 6th place in the 40k weekly while I had only managed to take 9th place during my run…but OH, WHAT A GAME! Jake, my friend. Didn’t see you chat once during the entire time, but u know I didn’t have my chat either. Great game to you sir, you definitely out-played me once we got down to heads up. I was soooo close to pushing my last 260k all in with my missed and inferior straight draw . I make that move there, I don’t see how you can call my all in with just Q high. But your Q high was good lol. Probably the largest pot in spadeclub history that was won by Queen high come showdown. Just an extremely dumb calldown by me, just got tired and was talking on the phone at the time. YES, you got lucky more than once vs me at that final table…I’ll be having nightmares about my Tens vs your A7o for weeks, but I respect your push, and when it came down to it, I got lucky myself making the same move vs Trooper. Wish I wouldn’t have folded my AT suited and pocket 5’s and pocket 6’s a couple other times when you pushed my big blind, but I was playing it safe and you benefitted the most from it. Again, congratulations. It would have been nice to have that big and beautiful blue trophy to myself but if I would have to come in 2nd place, you’re one of the few people I’m honored to lose to. Now we’re even when we play heads-up in spadeclub tournaments!

My apologies to two players in particular, slb888 and AndrewB . To slb888. Sorry about that hand where I called your raise on the turn, putting myself all in on a straight and a flush draw. This was the biggest donk move that I can ever recall making at this site, and I was extremely lucky to hit. I was becoming distraught with the tournament, having received about 1 hand in what seemed like hours…and the blinds were getting insane, so I decided to play reckless . I figured it was dinnertime, so I literally said “F THIS!”, clicked call, and it worked for once in my favor. Little did I know I’d be waiting until midnight before getting my dinner then anyways. Although that took a majority of your chips at the time, no more than 5 hands later you had won it all back, and shortly after that we parted ways and were moved to different tables. Not sure how you busted out of the tourney, but I’m sure it couldn’t have been much worse than the beat I gave you. Again, sorry.

And now to AndrewB. Jeez buddy…we’ve been running into each other A LOT lately! Much more so than I’d prefer, because I know how skilled of a player you are…and you definitely proved yourself today! To clear anything and everything about the hand that relatively crippled my buddy…the blinds were 15k/30k and I was in the big blind. Andrew was 3rd to act and called the big blind with QT. The small blind called the BB, and I was sitting in the big blind with 2 7 offsuit. Yes, I know this is statistically the worst hand preflop in poker. You could imagine my enthusiasm when I saw I received this hand in the Big Blind. But NO ONE RAISED PREFLOP, so I was able to check and see a free flop with yes, the worst hand. To my amazement, the flop came 2Q7. WOW! Bottom 2 pair, but 2 pair nonetheless. There were also two spades. So once the Small Blind checked to me, figuring I was good (assuming no set), I decided to bet out any potential flush draw by betting 500,000 some chips into a pot of a little over 90k. My heart dropped once I saw you instantly pushed yourself all in. I thought you hit a set or something for sure, but once the cards were flipped I started yelling NO QUEEN OR TEN! And to my amazement, my 2’s and 7’s held. Now, tell me people. Would ANY of you have played that hand otherwise? NO ONE RAISED PREFLOP…I played the hand I was dealt, no more, no less. Just a coincidence that I hit 2 pair after being dealt the worst preflop-hand in poker. So, continue to call me a donk if you must. That hand definitely took the sails out of the final table crowd-favorite, and I’m sorry I had to hit that hand against you, but what happened..happened. And you played a fantastic game. My friend managed to get ahold of some Sour-D. Have never had it before, but if there was one person I wish I could share it with right now, it would be you. Take it easy dude, and again, great game. And I totally predicted you getting a new badge today…I’m sure you’re not too disappointed!

And now To Trooper. Understand dude, my all in with JQ was just tryin to pick up the blinds. I could not believe my eyes when I was seeing you and Jake pushing all in preflop at least every other hand when it was down to just us three! And You were being a bully and raising me every single hand that it was just the both of us, so once I got shortstacked it was my turn to do the pushing. I still had a 40% chance to hit, and when I did I definitely breathed a sigh of relief. Hope you don’t hold it against me forever...3rd place is still good money.

Is there anyone other than me and InntheBufff to make both the final table of the 40k monthly and 5k weekly? I think there might be one other person but I cannot recall who. Just curious. Oh what a month it has been!
