DUMB MISTAKES

I PLAY FOR COUNTLESS HOURS ON HERE AND ON FULLTILT ON MY DAYS OFF WORK, I THINK I PLAY WELL IN THE ONES I ACTUALLY FOCUS ON, SOME TOURNAMENTS ON HERE I JUST MESS AROUND AND THROW MY CHIPS IN, BUT FOR THE TOURNAMENTS I DO FOCUS ON, I DO KINDA WELL. IT'S ALWAYS ONE MISTAKE THAT I MAKE AT THE END, AND AFTER I DO MAKE THAT MISTAKE, I'M JUST MAD AT MYSELF BECAUSE IF I WOULD HAVE TAKEN THE EXTRA FEW SECONDS TO LOOK AT THE HAND I WOULDNT HAVE MADE THE DUMB DECISION. I DONT MAKE VERY MANY MISTAKES IN LIVE PLAY BECAUSE I THINK ABOUT EACH HAND CAREFULLY. WHEN I PLAY ONLINE THOUGH, ITS A LITTLE HARDER TO ACTUALLY FOCUS ON EVERY HAND BECAUSE YOUR TIMED DOWN ESPECIALLY HERE ON SPADECLUB TO MAKE A FAST DECISION. I GUESS IM JUST VENTING OUT OF FRUSTRATION, I JUST WISH I COULD JUST STOP MAKING THE DUMB DECISIONS THAT END UP GETTING ME KNOCKED OUT, THATS IT FOR NOW.. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE ON THE FELT.. HAVE A GREAT DAY..

Hey dont be so hard on yourself, i just come off a sweet win and im still betting when i know im beat ! Sometimes we over think the bluff ecspecially when we are at a table full of donks or when our blinds are disappearing and we are not playing in the hands. Find that spot and CAPITALIZE!!! dont worry about whos winning @ that moment , you be the last man standing at the end! If you are not sure then your opponent probably isn't sure so bet. If you are unsure your opponent probably isn't sure so reraise. If you are failrly sure but not certain pretend you are certain and run for the hills.

Don't be so hard on your self... To be honest I think we all have felt the same way at times... I have only been here a short time and feel I am a good solid player... even at that sometime I miss-read my opponent.

It takes 1000s of years to build a city and just one bomb to destroy it. Same with tournament poker - we play good for hours and then one mistake and kaboom! I'd rather take a bad beat than make a mistake - at least then I know I'm playing well.

Well, I take every game serious, Throwing chips in and mesing around and not focusing will give you bad habbits. Sometime I like to change my game in like the 5K qulifyers. Focus every game, and you will see changes in your game. Your first win will come faster!! gl on the tables! focus focus focus Danielson..lol

I also hate to make the "mistake" and our right it is hard to mentally overcome. So just relax and try, good luck in your next tournament.
