As you can see from my stats I start out ok but a lousy finisher. My wife said the same thing then God invented Viagra. They need to have a pill for poker too. Maybe Poagra. I'd be dangerous then.

Hi DD...I really like it when a fellow man is not afraid to admit his feelings and show emotions about the woman they chose to spend a lifetime with,I won't get into mine now,I think I will post a blog coming up soon, but I always let it be known here that the Cougar (player name COUGAR4LIFE) is someone without whom I cannot live, she means the world to me and after the accident with so many challenges facing us,we became stronger than ever before,se share everything together, she is my world,,,X
~I believe Miss Tina Turner had u in mind~
You must understand that the cards in my hand
Makes my pulse react
That it's only the thrill of going for the kill
An all-in fact
It's physical
Only logical
You must try to ignore that it means more than that
oh-oh-oh
What's luck got to do, got to do with it
What's luck but a second hand emotion
What's luck got to do, got to do with it
Who needs some luck when the nutz can be broken
I have been following your latest blog(s) with enthusiasm. So funny...i totally get what u are saying...but e1 so offended. No! I'm too good for luck! As though luck is a bad thing. Pretty darn sure that luck, and nothing more-nothing less, has gotten me through to five+ decades. hmmmm.....arthritis, exhaustion, menopause...maybe though, come to think of it, it's not been GOOD luck! hahahahahahahahaha
I listen to everything you say and with great appreciation!~Thank you for your email, I am more than happy to stay in contact with good friends like you. I know what you mean when you say sc can teach me even more patience, I have until dec.31 (my personal deadline) to see if I can embrace that lesson here without it continuing to piss me off. I find that sometimes you just need a fresh start with an old problem in order to finally conquer it, let's see what the next month and a half brings.
I have a membership here til Feb. but made the decision to leave in Dec. to dedicate more time to my toher sites where poker is poker, ya there are still bad beats, but the percentage is so much lower than here. I can be patient and play solid, but on sc it isn't rewarded enough, and when you play a 4 hour game to get donked out continuously, you make the decision to save your nerves and go to a more intermediate skilled site where your skill is rewarded. I wish you the best of luck!~:)
I saw that $100 game you were playing, I watched the whole time you were in the last table you were at, I just don't talk when someone is talking a lot. I think you played a fantastic game! how could you know you were up against pkt k's? it crippled you, but you still held on for a few more hands to get 10th! which is a vgg!!~I still find that I play a better game where I don't have to be worried that a beginner will call with any two cards and suckout, so I do have to move on from sc
the pro's. I wanted to learn from experience. I have only been playing for 3 years now and believe I have my own way of playing, but yes need some good people to remind me of what I already knew but lost track of here on sc. I want to thank you for being such a breath of fresh air and sunshine in this crazy poker world. I also thank you for sharing your wisdom with me, I appreciate it more than you know!~You are a real GEM to have around!~:)
good morning David!~I was delighted to see your pep talk, advice, and care. I guess we all go through slumps when everything you know isn't working, well so I thought. I forgot to remind myself of the most important thing of all the "P" word! I know it too, but with the continuous bad beats, I went into, well who cares, any two cards will do, however, any two cards will NOT do is what my game taught me. I taught myself to be patient long ago as I never read any poker books and rarely watched...
In this tournament I did get unlucky and lost 3 hands at showdown when I was ahead beforehand. Mostly to small stacks. In fact I can remember in the last few months the times I have been behind and gotten a large portion of my chips in the pot. When I first started it was pretty much every game, and that beyond anything has been the key to success.
