ALOT OF RUSSIANS HERE............................

Without a doubt the most recognizable term in poker, besides the ever popular all-in, is the word donk. It is my opinion, however, that the term is too often used out of context in those situations it is most commonly applied to. Let me explain. As players there are certain aspects of the game we need to, at all times, be aware of. Some, but not all of these are:
POSITION (YOURSELF AND OTHERS)
ODDS (BOTH APPLIED AND POT)
ACTION AND REACTION OF ALL PLAYERS IN THE POT
HAND STRENGH
STACK SIZE (YOURS AND OTHER PLAYERS)
BETTING PATTERNS
OPENING RANGES
I could go on but these are enough to argue my point. The most common theory is that any player that enters a pot with any two cards and total disregard of the above aspects is a donk. Any player that opens, raises, reraises and/or chases with any two cards with total disregard to the above aspects is a donk. Any player that will play any two cards to the river with total disregard to the above aspects is a donk. Am I right? Isn't this how most players would define a donk? However, when someone plays like this and loses the hand he or she is very rarely called a donk.
Words like stupid, moron and idiot are typed out and sent via the tables' chat express. For the most part, nothing is said at all. Why discourage someone who is willing to give away his chips, especially, if he has more to squander. It is when someone plays like this and wins is he called a donk along with some very colorful adjetives to emphasize the phrase. Now, it has always been my understanding that the only point to sitting down at a poker table is to win. So if A(donk)=B(winning) and B(winning)=
C(the point of the game) then C must also equal A. That being true then my previous statement must also be true. Either the term donk is being used out of context or its Russian for winner!
HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Everyone donks once in a while. If a player is always honest, they will lose and will become too readable. The best donk and the worst donk. Like you mentioned in your phrases, those have to be taken into consideration before you take that chance on losing all of your bucks in the long run.
One example how I was donked out last night- I had pocket K's and betted along with the 4 others who stayed in. They seemed weak to me. Then 1 of them went all in after the flop 10,8, and 7. I went all in
