Do YOU MAKE THE CALL WITH YOUR OWN REAL MONEY
By DaStump24Jul 07, 10 10:28 PM

For starters i would love to play 85 percent of the players on this site for their own real money. Do they still call a 4 times the blind bet with suited mid cards. Im going to say if they did they would not last long.It never seems to fail that on just about all hands on this site that are raised with a premium starting hand are challenged with inferior starting hands. This is something that you rarely see from the pros. Why they do call is simple. They have nothing to lose ...... (I will call... if i get beat i will get in another one) Thats how inferior players play . In real live poker your lucky to have 4 players in at a time with any kind of raise. On the other hand you have internet players that dont give a crap what they call with how big the bet is . Its players like this that frustrate good players.Putting it on the line......For example putting your light bill money on an inferior starting hand in the dark preflop do you still call a third of your stack???? No they wouldnt !!! And if they did they would 98 percnt of the time be sitting in the dark at home. If you would not make the call with your light bill on the line then why do it in an online poker tourny.Makes sense to me why not to you inferior poker players.

Well said -- you have hit the nail on the head & it relieves my frustration to read your excellent blog. Thanks, Ann
stump, I have to say, a very well written and phrased blog ......I'm still laughing at the lightbill remark, lmao, and you are 100% right my friend........it IS frustrating, especially in a big money tourney, when you would like to think that people would try to play their best poker.......but then, maybe THAT is the problem........they ARE playing their best, lol......................................
Nice Blog .BTW I play on UB as wiseolgrizz and pokerjake82 if you ever want to play i would love the company.Gl out there..
your friend Jake
The last 2 lines of your blog pretty much say it all. Inferior players do not play sensibly, they're just hoping to get lucky. And they are not limited to online. I frequently see the same type of play in many of the live cash games I play.
GR8 BLOG AND I ASK THAT QUESTION TO THOSE PEOPLE AT THE TABLE AND THEY USUALLY JUST IGNORE IT.
Great Blog. Donkey play occurs both on and off line, but not to the same extent. For the solid player in a cash game the guy playing like a dumb ass is their bread and butter. The game definately changes when real money is on the line. In a game filled with nothing but solid players you do not see a lot of flops. You see less of turn cards and many many times never even see the river. Ppl then DO NOT waste their chips calling to inside straights or even open ended with one card left to draw!
