dont worry about the bull shit spoy. If youre like me u dont have the time to play 20 hrs. a day here. Instead concentrae on making money. BTW SPOY is a phuckin joke

That spoy was created when this place started, the fields were smaller then, now that the fields are bigger (MUCH BIGGER) I think it should be adjusted to at least top 50 per 1,000 people, get something. Times have changed, so should spoy points. That is my opinion anyways..I just like a game to play, this spoy is an extra game to play for me, doesn't mean much more than that, but i do want to get on the leaderboard just to say I did.

SPOY caters only to the people who can spend up to 20 hours a day playiing in every tournament that offers SPOY points. If that doesnt include you, then I would worry about the SPOY because you dont stand a chance.

How come the monthly payout has not been increased siince you have more members. Instead of takeing away tournaments and splitting them up into small tournaments, why not add NEW tournaments. Its time for Spade Club to step up!!

Well, since I don't play 20 hrs a day, I guess I can forget about getting far in the SPOYs so I'll just play the best I can in spite of all-in bingo players and donks - and have fun with my friends!

i agree read my blog, but it would be really hard to adjust the program to different levels of players, look how long it took them to install and get the 2009 spoy working. :) :)

hating on the spoy...to funny!!..anyway, i dont put much stock in it either, but its another challenge.....the only way to make it possibly more fair,would be to take each players 50 to, lets say, 100 best finishes over calender year, or month, or whatever, and add them up that way

then it doesnt really matter the quanity of tournys played, but the quality....you could finish 50 times in 4 mths for spoy,and still beat someone with 250 spoy finishes....more emphasis on quality over quanitity

Poker has always used the 10% rule. If you finish in the top 10% of the field you should get spoy points. They have the capabilities for it . They do it in their qualifiers. I guess it makes to much sense. Look at the spoy playoffs for belagio seats earlier this year. There were 200 entries and the top 15 got a seat not the top 20 , which is 10 %. Who ever runs this site must have too much college cuz they have no common sense.

I agree the point should start with 10% of the field, I have hit like 33rd out of 1800 and 30th out of 1600 and got zero points for it

Downtown is right that you don't get hurt by not placing. It seems like you get hurt because after any decent size tourney someone who was behind you or several people will place and thus move ahead of you. After big tourneys that I don't place I seem to lose a couple spots at least cuz others did place. As for giving the points to more people. HELLO, that makes perfect sense. I wish SC would read these and leave comments to ease the frustration. You're awesome. See you soon!

ok great,~ I think that giving top10% of the field spoy points is a fair and senceable idea. I can't think of anyone who would disagree. It's a lot of work and patience to get deep in a good tourny, would be nice to get the concelation prize, some spoy points.Copy and paste this blog, send it to SC, then ask them to send us an email telling us of the changes. LOL

I do agree with you. Actually, SPOY thing is a challenge to me, I just want some girls on the board, just to show the boyzzz..we can. ..play at their own turf.!! I can't play 20 hours either, but I am a regular player, I usually play the last $20 tourney, cuz I go to play live at night....until I go broke..then have to go back to work..not much poker then..(sobbing)...but if I fall down below in rank..then I can play more..LOL...just too competetive here..LOL..my bad.!!
