A Truly Spade Club Story.

First of all, I want to say congratulations to screwball for winning the five diamond seat. He knocked me out in a huge 3 way pot where I held 10-10, and was up against his AJ os and theQJ of another player. I can honestly say that this tournament had the tightest play I ever seen on spade club, a lot of people were playing really solid, which is why i was baffled at the fact the people would risk that amount of chips that late in the tournament with hands like those. Anyway after i hit the digital rail i told screwball that If he won the tournament i would quit poker. I went out to the bar, its now 2:14 am and I left the tournament window up so as soon as i walk into my bedroom i see he won....see there are poker gods, and they are hard at work here on SC.

I have seen alot of people risk 80% of their stack with hands like AJ off and Ace Ten. Its such a bad play. Ive had KK against to people with AQ and they still seem to hit the miracle Ace. Poker is crazy sometimes and you just have to think there is always next hand , its what helps me deal with the suckouts. Keep grinding Diplomat. GL @ the tables.
