I am crossing my worse time since I play poker in spadeclub ... all bad beats against me. I don t know what to do, I am desperate. I have changed my avatar, the color of carpet of the table, the position of the chair of my room ... it´s terrible! I need to win something to encourage me. Every day I am playing worse and tilt ! Some recommendation?

sounds like you've already done all the feng shui stuff with the carpet, avatar and chair placement. :-)

number one recommendation always without knowing a thing about a person's particular play? PLAY FEWER HANDS, stick with Sklanksky's Group I and II for now. is that optimum winning strategy? no. but it should get you deeper into the games...

if all else fails, sleep with the dealer. that always works... :-)

I know exactly how you feel. I even tried changing color of cards. It has been about 4 mos. for me. But it will come I am sure. :)

I agree w xxFATHERxx; back to basic ABC poker. I would add, POSITION, POSITION, POSITION. I would muck some grp II hands UTG, and fold them in late position to any significant raise. You can play other Sklanksky's grps in LATE position only, and only if no raises. I would be leary of playing any pair below 99 in early position, and consider folding small pairs if raised. After the flop, dont chase if ur not getting the odds! Dont automatically call just because u have flopped a pair.

In cult. beliefs, if your running thru bad cards, u should get up, and walk around your chair 3 times.

Play in the nude. Might not help you but it would do a lot for the guys imagination playing against you. You have to tell the table that you are playing in the buff. You never know; might make a world of difference!

You're playing too much. Take a few days off, and when you come back your mind will be refreshed.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - screw position, min raise with the best 5 hands, limp with the next 5, observe, observe, observe! Then when your game comes back hit em with the pot odds, position, etc. Position is more important than the cards but when you are playing like Richard Nixon (and we all do from time to time) lay your cards on the table and forget position.
