If you didn’t see me this Sunday it’s because I played in a $250k gauranteed on PS. Usually I play here at the same time, but figured I’d focus on just one game this time, whch turned out to be a good decision. There ended up being 27,041 players entered creating a prize pool of over $270k with over $24k to 1st place. I was doing so well until they moved me to a new table. I had $195k and the blinds were $12k-6k with $1k ante and average stack was $240k. My first hand at this new table was poc 6’s in middle position. Everyone in front folded and I raised to $36k hoping to get respect since I just hit the table… Dumb move. Big blind shoves and I had to fold. Made it past the blinds which went up to $16k-8k and I’m on the button with poc 10’s now and $130k left. Everyone folded so I raise half my stack trying to take down the blinds again. Small blind has over $400k and decides to put me in with Q-9 suited in clubs… I hit a straight, but he lands a flush and I go out in 283rd place. Has anyone had much luck in this one? That was my deepest run yet in this tourney and it was good for $110...
