I'M BACK IN THERE BABY!
By HandboneAug 26, 09 01:32 PM

That’s what my wife woke up to last night after midnight. I played a $3 rebuy with a $9,500 gtd on FT last night. Total investment of $15 with 1,143 players and the prize pool reached over $11k. By the time I hit the final table I was 5th in stack size with over $400k. The graphics on their final table changed to make it look like you’re at a featured table of some big event with cameras and flashes going off… it’s pretty cool I thought. Once it was down to 3 of us remaining, it was a real tough battle. After I knocked out number 3 with Ad-9d vs A4os, I had over $3.5 million in chips heads up against $2.5 million and we made a deal after that because it was late. I took first place for $1,876.
FT and PS have moved to synchronize their breaks at 55 minutes past the hour which I think is a great feature! It’s good for those who multi-table and even better for those who multi-site like me. We should probably follow suit here at SpadeClub too. What do you guys think? Be sure to let SCKenny know if you agree.
I’ve had to rebuild my bankroll several times in the last 2 years and my weak spot is always the same… it’s called cash tables. When I play in a tournament, I sit there and play until I get busted out. Unfortunately, I seem to do the same thing at cash tables. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve doubled up in the first 15 minutes and don’t have the ability to get up after that. I’ve decided to plug the leak… NO MORE BLEEDING!
I’m now strictly a tournament player.
Build on…. Build on.

Love the blogs man....I'm a former fultilt player.....like to play the 90 player knockout tourneys...love the blue final table like you talked about, nice little extra touch.
Was curious about your take on the play there,...its definitely a different game, can't put my finger on whether its better players or worse...leaning toward worse. What are your thoughts?
ya my read on u is pretty good>>just a matter of time but now I see you can time travel also.Nice job congrats>>I wish u could teach me how to win that key hand that puts u super deep in these tourneys. You have a knack of avoiding coolers.Your timing is exellent and your big hands seem to hold up extremely well.
I try to watch u every time u play in a big tourney in here. You sir are worth watching.
Keep up the good work
I always seem to run into the same problem, cash or close to cash and the cards absolutely die. As soon as I can get a break there, I can get a good win with more manageable bankroll.
Good job. Now spend most of your time at FT and build the bankroll. There's no reason you shouldn't be over $10k in a couple months. I've always been up and down at cash sites, right now took 50 to 500, starting to enter larger 24 plus tourneys. Those would work well for you. Better play, but at the same time, stil bad chasers. Don't be afraid to enter some 100+, keep in mind the style of play is totally differ than SC, the river is hardly ever seen.
congrats on the cash!! you should have a good bankroll now for the next casino toury's. ;)
