On Top of the World with nary a dime to show for it.

So all my finishes were damn good, yet all not good enough. I finished 21 out of 2400 in a omaha freeroll for $2. Finished 30th in a sat 500. 28th in the 5k. 200th out of 5800 in a horse event. And another omaha in 112 out of 2400. All would have paid were they buyins and not freerolls or membership tourneys. After 5 years of not depositing I am going to bite the bullet and put 300 on stars, Bday gift from another so still not my cash but close enough. My play has been pretty solid, still tiltable and may have tilted off the 5k. Not sure but after aces lose to qj with under 45 to go, the writing is on the wall.
The end was pretty much determined for me when went from table I led to table with the top 2 stacks, they had position 2 seats to either side of me and one or the other over raised every pot. I made my stand with KQ with a M under 4 and ran into QQ and still had 6 outs from the flop. Didn't make it but wouldn't have been in that position if my aces held and I popped over 100k instead of down to 35k. Such is life, happy with my game just going to give myself more opportunities.
