Keep it fun - it's a game - we're not pros (yet)

I know it's hard everyone, but I hope that everyone who plays on this site will bite their tongue and count to 10 before firing off nasty comments after a supposed bad beat. Yes they happen sometimes and can ruin a long nigte of focus at a table, but we were all there once. Almost all of us are a long, long way from being pros, even if that is our goal, so let's try to enjoy ourselves along the way.
Most of the time, when I suck out on someone, they left me decent enough implied odds to stay in, but think that it was a bad call on my part. Occasionally they're correct, but what good does it do to get nasty about it. The other day, I made a dumb call, sucked out on a guy and he was real nice about it. Said "nice hand" and told me he was suprised that I called with the hand I had. I told him that I was suprised too, that my hand acted on it's own. We had a good laugh about it and wished each other good luck. I apologized and meant it and all was cool. For me - that's poker.

You both had a great attitude. 95% are polite, but life always gives us the 5%. We can practice not going on tilt.
