it is writen in more then one poker book thats how you can tell amatures over the better players.Pros dont throw their cards or yell out nasty things when they lose bad beat or not.
Be pateint with them sometimes they really just need a hug. :)

Friend or Foe?

All in all I find Spade Club a friendly envirnment. But as in life, there are a few bad apples. I really don't understand why certain people take this game so personally. Sometimes I find myself falling into this trap because of some very unkool behavier, but thank goodness I'm mature enough to overcome it. So I guess I harbor a few foes, but am happy to say I have many more friends.

Right there with you. I decided to turn chat off. Too many yahoos who live only to make other people's lives as miserable as their own. Personally, I would not object to the idea of table etiquette being enforced. Nothing you can do about the fly-by-night free players - one must expect verbal abuse from them, but members should be expected to respect the game and each other to some minimal degree. I can get a game filled with amateur intimidation techniques anywhere; here I'd prefer to play
