i love it here....im not looking to make a living play'n poker...i enjoy the game...and free sites are more of a lotto then poker ( all in, move on ) here if you can weather some of the donk moves early...the play is very nice....now, if i could just get a SC hat to go along with this GREAT t-shirt.... ;o )

good attitude ace i wish you the best of luck. Its a good thing when you can take the good with the bad. SC is having normal growing pains but they try so you have to have hats off for that much.

Great post pokerace!! Several things keep me here....This is the first site I ever joined so I feel like I cut my teeth here. I love the friendships I have made. I think SC does a very good job trying to make everyone happy. Just like the 500 being cancelled last night, they work hard to keep everyone happy so they are going to offer a 1k to makeup for it. This proves to me that they care about us and try to makeup for the technical problems that sometimes happens. You will get that trophy soon!

Thank you for the long answer IrishQueen. You give a great answer. But I have play on another paid membership site. It's great to have tourneys every 15 minutes, but the game is not as good as SC. And I get sick tired of playing their $25 tourney. You spend three hours and ended up making less than one dollar per hour. lol. So I ended up coming back to SC. We have two great 500I and 500II tourneys.

(cont) I'm seeing more and more SC players on other sites. Why, their cash tournament schedule has more bang for your buck. On SC if you get knocked out early, its an hour or more to the next cash game. Answer, move to another membership site that has a cash tourney every 10 or 15 minutes. SC is great. I hope they can retain membership.

From a corporate point of view, there is a cost of acquiring a customer. Retention is the key to long term success. Other sites have time banks, so multi gamers move their asx to not time out. Other sites fold hands that are sitting out. Here they can win the pot without playing. The SPOY ranking method rewards compulsive multi gamers, if you are a recreational player, lots of luck. So, retention will be a serious problem over the next 6 months.

same here and sadly it has led to me mutating to a donkey myself.. i figure if u cant beat em joinem and if sc is going to reward them im there. proof... played retarted and ended up 1st by 7k early on. played like i know after that and was out very short after to bad hands

win the membership and its all free, and ur right, some other sites have nice things too, but this site has the community and other features, it makes it unique, like all sites there is room for improvement, check out my group, were to trying to improve spadeclub and make it the best overall, POWer to the players at spadeclub.
