Update: Handbone status

Hey, everyone! I just wanted to give a quick shout out to our very own “Handbone” who is heading into day 2 of the World Series Event #24! He has already made it into the money, so all of us here are crossing our fingers and wishing him the best!

Ken “Handbone” Meyer is one of SpadeClub’s superstars—he is one of the first 1,000 founding members, has won a World Series ’08 Main Event seat, a Caribbean Poker Cruise, and many other smaller events as well. He is working hard to pursue a professional career in poker, and we hope this year’s WSOP treats him well.

He sent me a quick message before he went to play today, telling me where he is in the tournament, which reminded me how great of a community SpadeClub is. It’s just a bunch of poker players, of all different levels and backgrounds, who are able to connect over the love of the game—there’s something truly special about that.

So again, best of luck “Handbone”, we know you’ll do us proud!
