Bad Table Manners

Ever notice how some players put nasty comments in the chat line, including insults and personal attacks on other players?
This seems particularly so when they have just been beaten in a hand, so they feel the need to blast the player who took the pot.
I feel this is often a means of hiding their embarrasment at having lost the hand.
On a live table, the other players would give such a jerk the cold shoulder, or run them off, or worse.
I prefer nice civil chat as I would expect face to face.
Fortunately, SpadeClub filters out the dirty words.

In a live game, bad players pay !
At spade club they get paid and it is embarassing to play here.

Just played in 2 tournaments in Dublin. Never an unkind word, pleasent and friendly, what a difference from live or online here.

I agree.. If you take a player out... or you comment on a nice play from another player taking a player out.. it always seems to be that one person who calls you names, states you dont know how to play poker, or something about a donkey~ (Donkey who me...). Get over it... If you had the winning hand there would be no need for any of this. The truth is your hand was not as good as you thought.

YOU REALLY CAN'T BLAME US FOR GETTING MAD OR CALLING ANOTHER A "DONKEY", WHEN IDIOTS RAISE OR GO ALL IN W/ CRAP AND BEAT YOUR BETTER HAND TO BEGIN WITH, TELL ME THAT YOU DON'T GET FRUSTRATED WITH THAT? THIS SITE NEEDS TO FIX THE SUCKOUTS AND REWARDING STUPID PLAY, AND THEN, LESS BAD COMMENTS WILL COME OUT!!!!!!!!!

But that is not just this site!
If you play in the WSOP, you will play against thousands of players. You will see the same kind of donkey play for the first two days. I don't think that Spadclubs.com is responsible for stopping that.

Phil Helmuth! Now there is a cry baby whiner. I know, he has won a bunch of bracelets, but he feels that entitles him to bully other players.

Phil really surprised me in the Heads Up championship recently shown on TV. He is trying to improve his image, and he was very quiet after being beat early in his semifinal. Way to go Phil!
