The Rules
By SPICYJul 22, 08 10:36 PM

Toss away your poker books. Don't attend clinics. Disregard anything common sense tells you. Don't even waste your time in a WPT Camp tournament.
---
Here are the Rules of SpadeClub:
1. Proceed against a player with a white hand with the utmost caution. They may have not received their "taste" yet.
2. If you're the chip leader, don't fold. You're going to win somehow.
3. If a player goes all in, and another calls, don't call unless you have the WORST hand. You are going to river trips.
4. Don't get involved in a big pot with AA unless you are on "the list."
5. If you see that magical stall on the turn/river, and it didn't help you, run!
6. Never fold Jx with a kicker 8 or lower, unless you are 100% certain that your opponent has Jx with a LOWER kicker.
7. Never fold KT if you know you are beat.

Please let me know if I left anything off. I am always trying to improve my 'joker' game. Thank you. Good Luck.

COMMENTS
10. If the flop comes out banging flush and your oppent bets 80k all in with the nut flush, do not hesitate to call if you just hit 1 pair you will river your boat.
9. If your oppent pushes all in 50k and you are holding Ace 6 off suit, do not hesitate to call with your 51k, 4 you will flop boat
Always call with ANYTHING suited unless you have the opportunity to play a crappier unsuited hand, then raise with it!
