The Rules... Reposted
By SPICYFeb 08, 09 05:45 AM

I'm sure there are several new players on this site. In case you haven't figured it out, here are the rules, still relevant 8 months later after the original post:
---
Toss away your poker books. Don't attend clinics. Disregard anything common sense tells you. Don't even waste your time in a WPT Camp tournament.
---
Here are the Rules of SpadeClub:
1. Proceed against a player with a white hand with the utmost caution. They may have not received their "taste" yet.
2. If you're the chip leader, don't fold. You're going to win somehow.
3. If a player goes all in, and another calls, don't call unless you have the WORST hand. You are going to river trips.
4. Don't get involved in a big pot with AA unless you are on "the list."
5. If you see that magical stall on the turn/river, and it didn't help you, run!
6. Never fold Jx with a kicker 8 or lower, unless you are 100% certain that your opponent has Jx with a LOWER kicker.
7. Never fold KT if you know you are beat.

Please let me know if I left anything off. I am always trying to improve my 'joker' game. Thank you. Good Luck.

Please see original for suggested additional rules.
