I just wait and wait in those sitngo tourneys. I'll play a little loose at the start in case I get lucky and trap some donks - but I rarely let my stack go below 900. Then I tighten up and if the cards don't come, I just let them knock each other out. If I can pick up a few small pots along the way then i'm usually in pretty good shape to battle triple up and heads up. If I get a big stack early, I sit back too and watch the donkfest. I usually finish 1st or 2nd unless I get a suckout early. GG!

Syphon, about Negreanu calling or raising even if he puts a player on a better "current" hand. He does this for two reasons, one is he knows he has a better chance to draw the nuts, and two, when he raises, he knows the other palyer's hand is just weak enough that they might fold. He's really is as close to clearvoiant as they come.

Hey FYI the only hands that count are in $ tourneys, so SNG dont count. The KILL ratio is all from the cash freerolls. I have not been able to avoid the suckouts. BTW 36 final tables and 3 wins are all from this year :-)

Play your game and you numbers will rise. My numbers are better than chillshot or the rest of the ,leaderboard.

I would love to hear what u have to say and anything you could help me with is always greatly appreciated..I haven't been playing much lately but I have been watching the "good players play" and that is futile.I manage to get my $$ in real good a very high % of the time but the cards always have other ideas.I don't know how u can keep getting your $$ in 70%+ and get the miracle card to beat u on the turn and the riv time after time.I know there is alot more to poker than having the best hand

Thanks for the info. I knew it was above average. I looked at it as every 27.5 hands played I felted someone on average. To bad it pays as much as being in the top 50 in SPOY last year zero.P.S. man you need to get a life. Just joking keep in touch. I been away for two weeks and am reassesing how much time I spend sitting at this thing. I'm trying to remind myself I'm not bed ridden yet.

You're right Halsey, but I'm looking up the ratio of everyone with chips and getting sweet intel! In the 5k I folded a good hand to raiser with 3.9% and called a re-raise from a 1.7% - Both were correct!!

Thanks for you thoughts on my blog. But I digress. If I want to increase my headcount I simply need to play the smaller tourneys and increase the number of entries. The nature of the smaller tournaments allows more pickoffs near the end becasue more = more (& more Points BTW). Smaller tournaments are BY FAR more easy to last into the later rounds. - Finish rank mutiplied by negative .001 (pick your neg #) and then by # of opponets + # games played = truth IMO

LoL....rating everyone now eh?...you'll see that hands to bounties equation wil ring true. You see a guy donkin his ass off check his rate....usually very low...then factor in final tables and such. Played against a guy the other night callin and sucin out like crazy...looked at his hands to bounties...he was under 1% and made only 1 final table in 45,000 hands...I wonder how many players he pissed off to get that far?...LOL
