I guess I feel AA is lucky for 2 reasons: 1) I almost never see it, so I feel lucky when I am dealt it. 2) When I finally am dealt AA and it actually holds up, I know luck must be involved.

Tried to post in your blog but didn't respond when I clicked on post a comment. IMO your reasoning on either folding or going allin is not bad, but I still would make a case for just calling. By calling and seeing the flop you could still have the best hand if a flop comes low or no Ace as I agree you have to put him on Acepaint or even Ace rag.
