Obviously its better to be lucky than good.

After watching the WPT event last night, I realize that the poker pros are correct. There's no luck in poker. Gus Hansen obviosly new he was going to get all his money in time and again with the worst hand and draw out on the river against some pretty tall odds in some cases. I get out drawn when I get in with the best hand about half the time, let alone get in upside down. Its rare that I draw out when I get it in with the worst of it. Gus got out played so badly, I was actually embarrassed for the guy. But it leaves hopes for donks like myself. I may loose, but I know I can outplay Gus Hansen. And that feels pretty good.
