I know what you mean horsie. I like to play a good solid game of poker, but only on sc do I find I have to be even more in control of my tilting when donked. I very rarely titl, but the only place it has happened to me is here. I don't believe it can happen very often here to have a good game with good people because sc doesn't make it hard for you to be experienced, IT IS A BEGINNERS SITE and it caters to them. think about it, if the good players always win, sc doesn't get new members.

I like bad play, Larry. It is the lunatic moronic donkey play that I don't like. The lack of fold equity deep in a tourney when 3 players are going to call 90% of their stack with trash when you shove short handed and short stacked takes away one way to win a hand and therefore reduces the skill factor. If I have less than 15 big blinds and I shove AK I want a bad player to call me with AQ or AJ. But I don't want 3 donks calling with 75, T9 and 22, which is so often the case here.

Why would you dislike bad play, in the long run bad play will lose to good play. I may get beat today, but I will win in the long run. Oh and a lot of play is judgement. my good play to me , for my reasons, may be donkey play to you. I love donkey play, in the long run.

Barrie u can be good yourself without playing like a donk if you really wanted.. learn to fold a towel and once you done that you can fold a shite hand easyily. Donkies dont deserve respect if they bust any player holding great cards with a crap hold em hand! occationally a donk comes good and wins something nice through his/her skill... like that donk who won the 1st heads up championship... Yes now that donk should be respected!!

everyone on this site has some donk in them. Especially in the top 25. That is the bottom line. Definately a big "whine and cheese" crowd on this site. Seeing people bitch and moan after bad beats is worth the price alone!

I hear what is being said, however I do not believe the top 500 will prove a donk free game! Nothing personal but I believe from watching... That Many of the high spoys did not get there by playing solid poker by any means. are there solid players , yes, Are there donks, yes! Welcome to the world of poker, they are everywhere.

.....to clarify this - good players make mistakes. Calling your whole stack with AK to an all in heads up with a medium-short ,when waiting another round is the better option, that's just a mistake. But there always seems to be some nutjob who will call half of their stack with atc suited or gap connectors on every final table. I guess that's poker! I'm with you though horsie - we need more tourneys that will encourage the good players to play better to beat each other. Heads up coming up! GL!

Some of the best tables come in the $10 turbos, where the game is all about correct shove or fold decisions when the field is down to 25 or so. If the good players correct decisions don't get donked, you sometimes get 9 good players at the final table. This is not always the case - if the suckouts cause carnage you can just as easily get 6 or 7 nutjobs, but I'm yet to see a final table with 9 good players in the $100-$500 games. There's always at least 1 bingo stack....

Are you just looking for more ways to ban the donkeys and fish like me from a weekly game. Lets face it Spade Club is a profit making site. Sorry, Nothing more. Its the many many fish and donkeys like me that pay $20 a month the get slapped around night after night by those who are good at this game . We make the site profitable. We donks get lucky on occasion. That is all the serious players seem to worry about on SC. Donkeys Deserve Respect too.
