Playing multiple tables on SpadeClub.com

Greetings, my friends:

A friend of mine has been playing an outrageous number of hands, so I thought, “What the heck, let me try several tables at once…”

Here are a few things that I learned on my first day of playing multiple tournaments at the same time:

1 - I played FIVE tournaments at one time and it seemed like an Olympic sport as the boards kept firing back and forth like an Oklahoma lightning storm in July! Five Tournaments is TOO MUCH to play with in the beginning of learning to play multiple tournaments at the same time.
2 - Set your auto muck on as this SAVES TIME when you are playing multiple tournaments at the same time.
3 - Use the EXPRESS FOLD feature on some of your multiple tournaments that at the same time as this will give you more time because that one table will only pop up when you have a good playable hand. Sweet!
4 - When you are eliminated from a tournament, go back to the tables that you set on express fold and remove that table from express fold and start playing it actively.
5 - This is very IMPORTANT - use the ROTATION ARROWSTABLES to set all of your hands at the SAME SPOT as this allows you an instant VISUAL! You do not need to look over all about to find your hand because it will be in the same position on every table! I found this to be very helpful.
6 - Play SMALL BALL! By keeping the pots small, you have more of an opportunity to OUTPLAY YOUR OPPONENTS after the flop!
7 - TAKE NOTES ON YOUR OPPONENTS. This is really a good bonus of INTERNET POKER.
8 – READ YOUR NOTES – THEY WILL HELP YOU MAKE BETTER POKER DECISIONS.
9 - PLAY POSITION – use the cutoff seat and the button to your advantage! When you are in good position, their betting patters will give you valuable information on those players plus you can put pressure on them by betting after they check!
10 - BE DECEPTIVE – After you make a call with As - Js and find that you are up against 7 – 7 (basically a race) well, you hit an Ace and win it! Next hand you get 8 - 8 or Kd – Qd, try changing gears and limp in to see a flop cheaply; however, if someone raises, you can always push all in or call, it is up to you but they just might learn to NOT RAISE YOU! Deception will make you a lot of chips on a good ay.
11 - CHANGE GEARS – Change up your play so that they can not put you on any particular hand; this will lead more of your opponents to gamble with you later and possible get paid off on your better hands.
12 - AVOID COORDINATED BOARDS – JsJhQd on the flop is a coordinated flop and you should avoid them early on unless you have a J; also, 8-9-10 is a coordinated flop and someone may have flopped a straight just as three hearts is a coordinated flop that means that someone may have a flush – unless you have the nut flush, you should avoid it early on.
13 - VALUE EACH TOURNAMENT BUT ONE- Play your best and remember the three P’s of Poker – Pairs, Position and Patience.
14 - PLAY LOOSE ON ONE PARTICULAR TABLE – This will allow you to be patient on your other tables but get those feelings out on just on one table – SpadeClub has another tournament for free in a few more minutes.
15 - DON’T BE AFRAID TO BET – Decision making is a skill that will improve as you play more hands. Even when you get low chipped, make the right poker decision. REMEMBER, “Fear is a mind killer!”
16 - CHECK YOURPOSITION – Use the VIEW LOBBY to see where you stand; if you are in 19th place, maybe you should wait until you are past that point and get those additional points because over a YEAR of playing at SpadeClub those extra point just might add up to be in the THOUSANDS!
17 - REMEMBER TO STEAL SOME BLINDS – No one can just play good cards; everyone has to take a chance at STEALING! REMEMBER, “If you haven’t been caught stealing, then you are not stealing enough!”
18 - SHOW A BLUFF – Let’s say that you kept the pot low and an Ace hits on the river. Your opponent has been betting each time you bet; now, since you are first to act, you can try to steal the pot representing an ACE. Make a good but not all in bet because he may this it is a “Value Bet”. So he folds – now show him the bluff! Two things happen here – one, you show everyone that your game has skills and that you are able to make moves , and two, you may get in their heads or it may lead to your getting more action down the road when you have a big hand that you get paid of on! Ya, baby!
19 - MAKE THE FINAL TABLE – be careful of blowing your chips when you are close to making the final table; avoid tilt! You can not win the tournament unless you play at the final table!
20 - WIN THE TOKEN BY BEING AWAREOF YOUR STATUS!
21 - BE NICE – When some sucks out on, type in NH (nice hand) because while you do no mean it, you want that DONKEY to keep playing his stupid style because you will get his chips later! Never tell them anything that will improve their game.
22 – If some idiot is always swearing at players or typing crude comments, either turn off the chat or copy it down and report them; but NEVER let it cause you to alter your playing style.
23 - HAVE FUN! That’s why you joined Spade Club – it is the best bargain on the INTERNET!

My $100 TIP --- All these RECOMENDATIONS are meant to allow you the maximum DECISION MAKING TIME FOR ALL YOUR TABLES!

Lastly, I must advise you to remember the following warning: “Everything in poker is situational.”

Hopefully, I have been of some help to you today.

Playing five tables on two sites now, and sometimes play up to eight tables on three or four sites with one being real money!!! The express fold and auto muck does help.

Some people cant play one game well, some can play 2 or 3 very well. However no one on this entire planet can really play their best game on more 4or 5 games. Sure people can load up games and play fast, but it wont be their best game. there really should be a limit on how many u can play at one time, like 4 or 5. Anything more is just people trying to rack stats or jus plain abusing the site. If its any consolation, I ran some tests on multi hands on all the games, and when anyone tries to play

I'm confused. I try hard not to be unkind to another player and believe me, I don't mean to be rude. I've read three of your blogs so far, some tips are good, some I don't agree with. What confuses me is that when I look at your stats! 17,000+ hands and only 1 final table and no wins! Why? Explain why anyone should listen to your advice. Or is it that you don't play by the advice you so easily try to teach others? Again, no offence meant, just REALLY curious!
