How many wins do I have?

Recently I posted a few new blogs and a coupleof players asked, "Why should anyone follow your advice if you only have one win?"

Good point.

I guess the "win" was in the free entry cash games; I do not play them much but I have won other tournaments on this site.

I have gone pretty deep in the 40K and won a few bucks. I play in most weekly 5K because I manage to win the Red and Blue tokens whick makes playing on SpadeClub an enjoyable part of my week, just like seeing my grand kids makes my life better.

I have cashed at the WSOP and I really consider myself a much better "live" tournament player.

OK, enough "being defensive"; I remember that my mother always taught us "to listen to others, sometimes good and sometimes it hurts but it is all good."

I only started in 2004 but I made 51 final tables at either Bay 101, Artichoke Joe's, Lucky Chances, Garden City and the Oaks Club. I have Winner;s jackets from each of them - more than one each.

I have not really learned the online "thing" but that's why I joined SpadeClub.

The one thing that I find amazing is how much other players are actually bluffing! That is a big difference between online and live players but how can you get a tell on someone that you can not see? I would appreciate the help.

Anyway, if I help anyone, I feel that I have made your week a little better.

tells are harder online, but they are possible. start with gettin to know players, make notes on them in games by clickin on their name in a game. Look for bettin patterns, how they bet with the stacks they have. Watch how fast they play and how often they bet. Finally the best thing you can do is talk, if you can handle being talkative and playin, you can see who has a brain. People who are quiet tend to be unsure of their game, people who are slo tend to be playin to many games or arnt payin a

Overbets is really the only online tell I can think of. The old weak is strong, strong is weak thing. Their patterns will show U. I enjoy your blogs, and your words prove you are not brand new. As for defending your stats, SC is only one poker room as you said. Good Luck! Alot of live players take a bit to get used to the no physical tells. Your a winning player and will work it out!

just for the record, I enjoy your blogs. Nobody here is a pro as far as I know, we all are still learning. As a matter of fact if we stop learning we should give up the game. Myself I study alot, not just reading but making notes (i happened to notice you write alotfrom Mike Caro). Anyway keep writing and don't let the bad comments get you down. Most of all good luck.
