21 times and still counting...
By ace1ofheartsApr 09, 09 10:33 AM

First of all, I am not trying to sound like I am whining. I am used to bad beats. Probably more than anyone on this site. Builds character if nothing else...
I am writing this just because I think this has gone beyond "random". Actually I am laughing about it.
Check this out: 21 times I have gotten AA, they have gotten beat. 21 times in a row. ( not counting omaha ).
A lot of times I have raised all-in preflop , gotten it heads-up and I have had 96-4% advantage on the flop... and still lose...
I don't wan't to bother you with the bad beat stories... I do have plenty...
I do understand that a lot of times AA won't even be the favorite after the flop with all the guys calling, and trust me, I am actually able to fold AA if the flop is not in my favor. These 21 times, I haven't folded them though. Every single time my money went in , I was at least 55-45 to win...
Every time I get AA, I am just thinking: great! I will be able to say the next number of losses when the miracle card for the opponents will hit....
I am sure it will be somekind of a record having AA beat... They lose all time time, but 21 times in a row... ?!?!
Someone might be tempted to tell me, that I don't know how to play them aces... or know how to play poker at all for that matter...
I should have gotten the software that keeps record of every hand that I play... It would show how much I donked...
#22 is lurking arounfd the corner, so if I make 4xbb or all-in raise preflop, make sure you'll call, because that would be the #22.
Take care y'all !
Typing out once again,
Sirpa
