Perfect Storm

You will see me use this term on here from time to time. It is used by me when someone beats me with a hand that looks pretty darn good. Happens to all of us I would suspect. Some storms may be a bit more perfect than others, as asinine as that sounds. The worst one for me so far on this site occurred during the 40K event last week. I was taken out by a straight flush. As you can imagine, I was sitting on the nut flush with the Ace of spades in hand. I do not remember what the flop, turn and river produced, I just know that the board had not paired, so I was sitting on what looked to be an unbeatable hand. Boy was I wrong. This dude hit the straight flush on the turn and i was the proverbial sitting duck. Oh well, as they say, " THAT"S POKER"

I'm with you on the whole perfect storm theory. I tried to explain it to my wife......she thinks I should seek professional help. Been there many times........that "perfect" turn or river hits you......you can hardly stay in your chair.........the "donkey" bets into you........yes !!!!.....you raise him all in.......he calls !!!...can you believe it......you throw 'em down....and he casually flips the nuts.............I've seen it two or three times "this week". It's been a very trying week.

How are you, saw your comment on my blog, thanks for your feedback. I've been playing online alot. I've never been able to communicate except for while playing at the table. I always felt other sites had control of the cards, that's why when I got here I ranted and raved about the program. I saw Stevebvt have his straight flush beat by a stronger straight flush, 2 days after he deffended the card counters, starting to think the loose callers are causing these beats. but still not sure.good luck.
