What The Great Ones Teach Us On Luck
By b0yzlieOct 13, 09 04:19 AM

They teach us that luck runs the spectrum from very good luck to very bad luck. Sometimes it really is about being at the right place at the right time or wrong place at the wrong time. Malcom Gladwell teaches us that when it comes to personal performance, its not luck, its deliberate practice. Honestly, dont mistake dumb luck for extreme skill.
Create Your Own Luck;
Personally, I feel luck is when skill and opportunity come together. What I've found is that many things that look like luck at first, really are part of a system. That said, of course, I realize some things are unknowable, in those cases I focus on calculated risks!
Here are a few of my favorite luck quotes; "absorb what is useful:
"Chance favors the prepared mind"
"Depend on the rabbits foot if you will, but remember it didnt work for the rabbit:
" The only sure thing about luck is that it will change"
"Success is simply a matter of luck. Ask any failure"

COMMENTS
Luck does not exist. What people preceive to be luck is in reality simply timing. If someone needs the Quen of spades to win a hand and their timing is right the queen of spades will appear. If their timing is off they will not get the card they need and lose the hand. Rid yourself of the concept of luck and your life will become much much better!
