What happened to awarding points?
By bric57247Oct 08, 09 06:01 PM

The point builders don't reward like they used to, and neither do the big dailies. I finished 45th out of 1428 in $500 tonight and got nothing for it. It used to be worth at least something. Do the math - there were 1428 players buying in for 250 points each = 357,000 point pool. SC paid 18 places and only 42,750 points.
LESS THAN 12% return. If a live cash tourney did that, nobody would play. Why is SC taking away something from the players? At this rate, especially with the high roller tourneys, everyone's point pools will dwindle, and ONLY the elite will remain. That's not a good way to retain players here. FIx this as soon as possible - give the players back what we once had!

You make a great point...no pun intended. They need to change the way points are distributed. Why not do 250+40 or something like that and they keep the 40 and pay out all the rest. What do they need to keep all those points for?
