hello,

i believe one of the most exciting factor in playing poker is the chance to hit the "bad beat jackpot." when a player loses aces full of 10s or better to a quad of better with both cards in play, it's a bad beat jackpot hand. most casinos offer this and it makes the game that much more attractive to play.

i think SC should offer this "bad beat jackpot." not in on every tourneys, but in on $500/5K/40K tourneys. i suggest that the prizes should be,
bad beat hand - mp3 player(iPod)/ bicycle/ or laptop(hahahah..)
winning hand - cheaper mp3 player/ cheaper bicycle
rest at the table - t'shirt

now the gas prices are so high, i am pretty sure we all could really use a bicycle....

I have only seen bad beat jackpots during live play. I have never seen them in effect during tournaments. I have seen them give away gear (jackets, hats, shirts etc) for royal flushes during tournaments as well as live play.

I like the idea. Sounds fun. SpadeClub gear seems most feasible. Wouldn't cost much and spreads word-of-mouth advertising. Good luck.

I don't know about you Dawg... but I sure don't want to be peddling around when I can push a gas pedal. How about a cash prize equivalent (or a lil less if SC should choose to make that an option)... just a thought D ~
