batting average
By eddie2kingsApr 06, 08 10:43 PM

I do love this site but I've got the idea that maybe it's not enough to see a leader's board of merely "Hands Played" and "bounties taken". I think it would be very interesting to see a "batting average" so to speak, of the rate of "Bounties per Hands Played". Obviously not everyone has the 12-16 hours per day available to them to play enough hands to find themselves on the leader board. But, frankly that leaders board is not statistically important. A more relevent leaders board would show the "batting average" i.e. the rate of bounties per hands played. . . That would be a very helpful, interesting and valuable piece of information to us members. Who cares who's been able to play 50,000 or more hands, or who has been able to knock out 1,000 players? How bout we relate those important pieces of information into some workable percentage that would truly be a "leader's board"? It could be in a decimal form of bounties per hundred hands played or bounties per thousand hands played. I think that average would be something the members of this site would appreciate. What's your opinion? btw. AA, who is one of my respected players, has a pretty nasty "batting average". Check it out.
