Check out Roy Cooke's article in June 9 Card Player (p.54-56)
By flapjacksJun 05, 09 06:31 PM

More people on this site should read a little to improve their game. Roy lays down 10 basic rules to the game of cards. Rule #8 states "Don't be condecsending to your opponents." Play the game with class. If a player made a bad play against you, it's a good thing. Don't lecture or intimidate opponents into not making the same mistake again. What are you trying to accomplish? Make them play better? Make them leave? It's an ugly thing to do personally, and counterproductive professionally. It's the worst play in poker, and the stupid one is you! - - - WOW! Very well stated Roy! It's just too bad the people who really need to read this probably haven't read much more than a comic book in the last few years! ~~~I'll see you at the tables...
