I think a WSOP badge would be appropriate for you and all other WSOP seat winners. It would be much cooler than a monthly trophy anyway. And triple crown winner is a valid claim IMO....fugetaboutit.

Well a win is a win. I would saw no because you didn't really want to win it at that point. I would have still gone for the win.

I agree totally about the equal prize and think this man has awesome skilz and deserves it. The only problem is if he gets it, how many whiners are going to want a Belagio trophy...it will snowball. So save the drama, recognize it for what it was...An accomplishment beyond 1st place 40k. I think DKhunky should just forfit his to fuget. He knows how it went down and doesn't care about this site anyway...he shows up a few times since...maybe for an ego stroke.

Lets end this second place talk this way. The 40k used to pay 10k for first. He got 12k WSOP package...above and beyond. If we can have a bust a brit badge...he should have a special badge too. Also get Ares one. The t-shirt...one of the only few that could wear it and know they earned it...wasn't a petty crack. I say a red, blue, green gets the triple crown. The only and I mean only reason I would like to see him get a unique trophy is...con't

WOW......this is a tough 1....u had very large chip lead...u defin would of played it diff if u knew 2nd didnt get trophy....did they state that..1st & 2nd pd same prize...tourny should of been over rite there...sckenny should of told u guys once it got head up.. congrats...now play 4 that trophy....he prob didnt....could argue that u should get trophy....& also that u shouldnt...i would contact sckenny & have him read this blog..i think 1st & 2nd should defin get red trophy..now if 1st pd more.

i think u deserve the trophy and crown and played great but u shouldnt get the trophy or the triple crown............
u won all the top prizes but you didnt win 1st place. u didnt "WIN" the tournament. u werent the last one left. u said urself u both kept goin all in at the end and he won. u both got top prize but he got 1st place. just my honest "OPINION" that i was asked for.......

(cont) In the third year I had a perfect season, until the last game. The last game went to a tie, that could be declared a tie, or we could come back and finish. I said to the other manager, "Let's leave it at a tie". He said "No, there has to be a winner", I said, "Do you understand how proud your kids would be to tie the champs". He said no, "we have to have a winner". So, I came back and played. It was the only time in my LL career that I let my team beat another team into the ground.

I don't uderstand half of what goes on at Spade Club. I only know that on pay sites, if the top prizes are equal, they stop the game and everyone gets a winners letter. Since my internet background was Spade Club, this confused me at first. But, it is by definition logical. I'll relate a Little League story. I was the first woman LL manager in history.(Before the lawsuit there were some that were fronts for their husbands). I won 1st place 2 out of 2 seasons.

i am not asking to be awarded a red trophy. just if i have a claim to the triple crown. and on leaving something for the winner when there is a chop, this was not a chop, this was predetermined that both first and second got the same prize so it left nothing to play for.

If DK got a trophy, you should have one too, although there is an argument for only one winner. But like on paysites where any deals must "leave so much for the winner", maybe in this case the 'so much' was the red tropyhy. Decent argument for one winner only, though.

Well...I would've played serious heads up to guarantee I got the trophy, but I cant blame you for carelessly pushing after it was heads up cuz you both got the same prize. Either way, you earned the top prize in each of the 40k and 5k, the first person on the site to do so, so I'd say technically you are the triple crown of spadeclub winner. Congrats again! P.S. 34 offsuit gave you 5k title....I make it to heads up, you do not win the tournament...lol j/k. But still, fuckin 34...sigh.

If I remember correctly the prize was listed as 2 wsop seats. Two winners equal TWO trophies. 1 and 2 were paid the same, no difference so I think both deserve the trophy.

I totally agree with you on this issue.

SpadeClub should immediately issue you a RED TROPHY as well. If the prize consisted for both the top 2 entries to win the prize, then both should receive EQUAL prizes.

So, since both of you, dkhunky and fugetaboutit, went to the WSOP via SpadeClub, you BOTH should receive the RED TROPHY.

WE ALL KNOW YOU HAVE WON IT, now we need SC to give it to you.
