Online poker is very processer "heavy", we have all been discon.
I know people that play 6 or more tables at a time, 12 tables on 2 computers etc. My limit is 3 esp. if Im on 2 sites. Besides the reg. entry I must go thru a routine every time I open a new game-EVERYTIME-reset screen resolution(this is a lengthy procedure in itself), rotate seat position, turn off odds cal. and leaderboard-2 distractions that take up valuable space and time( the hand evaluater under poker tips is far more useful) locate the next game on schedule and reg. all the while Im still active in other games and of course chat w/friends and not friends, and poof-all gone-start over-login-reset-etc and then theres the most irritating of em all-screen flicker-aaaaaaaaaaargh! the active table will automatically pop to the front of my screen when its my turn to play-change screens BEFORE I can click my action-manually return-pick action return to other game only to have it switch back so I can watch the action I just selected and switch WITHOUT warning the instant I click an action so its on the wrong game and never stay on active table long enuff to assess the situation EXCEPT when I time out of hand and thats usually on a big pot when I have at least a set..................
throw in music stream during peak user hours and poof-start over-login
In the words of Al Bundy-shoot me
maybe I should take up knitting

Take TexasHoldem's advice. I'd add 1 more thing. Spring for a second monitor. Thus, 1 game per screen and no bouncing. People playing more than 2 games, simultaneously, lose a lot. You're just playing the odds. You lose the "feel" of the table. It's hard to win this way, and hard to improve your game.

geee, sounds fun! humm, perhaps it's time to review here. I am however willing to share my thoughts. Try one site, two games max. Play music from an outside source and not the computer to save ram memory. If you need the extra mind stimulation get a hand held game to play while you play poker; perhaps a hand held black jack or slot game. The screen flicker may be coming from one of three sources, cell ph, micro waive or your brain getting ready to explode due to sanaptic over ride, chill/relax T
