Well, that's poker. But, also it's because a whole bunch of wanttabees are trying their hand at hold'em. It just burns the short hairs when you get sucked out on by a hand that any normal, and I use that term loosely, person would play. In a freeplay, they have nothing to lose and could care less. That's why a live game at Foxwoods brings me back to REALITY. Let's go forward, learn from the past, and give'm hell.

I totally agree, brother, and the saddest part of it all is when they do hit runner runner runner and the ocasional runner they act as if something is wrong w/ the way you played.they couldn't believe you pushed them all in when you had them dominated, and act like they are a poker god and outplayed you, when all they did was catch lot of dumb luck. I've always said I'd rather be lucky than good any day but I dont apply that to poker. Live it really is a game of skill and physcological warfare

This site is like Pokerstars but less badbeats. All I can say is every Donk will have his day including myself...that is the law of Poker. I can't wait until judgement day when their 72 off hit bricks.

I know, it's frustrating to see it happen time and time again. What I hate is the 1 or 2 outers that seem to get me all the time. I need to find some poker tracking software to see what is happening when I play. I'm seeing people with daily wins that play like shit, yet I can't crack that plateau.

Sorry about your chat thing. Good observation about the early all-ins. Big tourneys draw bad players who usually bust out early. Strong players stay out of big pots during early tourney play to let the idiots shoot it out. Save your chips until the real Poker begins about half way into the tourney. And good luck.

Dude if u play at crystal park u should be immune to the suckouts. Thats worse than online play and they look u in the eye over there with their horrible play. I agree there appears to be a correlation between the apparent sanity of play and the cost of the buy-in. Tournaments with a higher buy-in do not seemed to be plagued by wacky play.

Whine, Whine, Whine, Bad beats (or bad calls) are part (and a necessary one) of poker. Can you imagine how boring the game (let alone un- profitable) would be if everyone only bet the nuts,only called with the nuts etc.no one would play. Now when your playing with inexperienced players, at little or no buy-in you are going to get gamblers, people just getting bored etc. So rather than talk down to or belittle bad players you shoukd be thanking them for playing. it is those players that give you

I totally understand your frustrations with donk plays... Because of this site and folks like you that talk about donks and their plays I am learning the game more myself and yes I got beat by donks alot before I started playing at this site.. so as I look back I know I played like one because I really didn't know what cards were to really be held... As I am still learning I try to be aware of more donk plays and not play them unless I am in big blinds or have no choice. GL out there and ty.
