My entry into the Spade Club world

Well I had played on Absolute Poker for a while, but I finally got sick of what I considered to be underdogs turning into favorites the same percentage of the time that the FAVORITE was! My friend told me about Spade Club so I decided to check it out. Last night I played in my first tournament, not too bad (470 out of 1000), and I also tried the H2H challenge which I won. Which is interesting because heads up is a weaker part of my game.

Someday I would LOVE to make it to the World Series of Poker, or just play in a live tournament. The only live games I've ever played have been home games or low stakes at my Enlisted Club. Mind you, I have done well (I finished 2nd in two home games and made it to the final table at the Enlisted Club).

Most people I see play really aggressive, which gets them into trouble in bigger tournaments. It can be an effective strategy in Sit N Go's. I try to switch gears when I feel opportunities are there to do so. I try not to get myself into major decisions if I can avoid it. But I am not afraid to say "what the heck" and gamble either. :)
