Dont beat yourself up too bad. You had a great run relative to mine. Like you, no real cards to play and when I did get cards they were second best. Only made to 1082. Better luck next week.

Well I felt pretty good coming into this tournament, especially with my 5th place finish on Fri Night in the Nightly tournament. Unfortunately it's REALLY hard to win these things if you don't get any cards. Our of well over 100 hands, I saw 1 pair (2-2). I did get A-Ko once and A-Qo twice but that was pretty much it. The one big hand I won was with J-10s when I made a flush and got paid off (in the first couple levels). Outside of that, I did try to get in where I saw opportunities but didn't flop anything.
Finally I was down to 4500 and was in a 4 way hand with A-4. The flop came 5-4-J and was checked around. When a 2nd J hit the turn, I made a move for my 4500. Essentially I knew if there was J out there I'd be in trouble, but otherwise I could win with a A or 4 on the river. Well I got called and he had 6-6. A harmless 5 fell on the river giving him J-J-6-6-5 and ended my tournament in 545th.
I'm proud I stayed patient...the one thing maybe I should have tried is to play a lot more hands in the early levels. I hit 9000 at one point and put it into cruise control. And of course, the hands didn't come. I know there will be tournaments where they will. :)

Have been card dead for weeks, wow first hand in the 5k AA super I hit a full house and get beat by four of a kind. SHORT DAY LOL!
