I agree with CL... You are a very awesome player and I so do congratulate you ... I wish you the best with all you are doing in your new life of poker :).. I would be happy if I become at least half as sound as you are in the game... I am still learning the game .. I have come a long way since coming here , watching and reading more about poker.. but no where close as sound as you ... You stay safe, be happy and enjoy your games..

Those still in the hand should be allowed to chat. It is an important aspect of the game. I'm all for banning others chatting simply because some idiot will occasionally tell you what cards he folded but chat between the players should be allowed. It would be great to see SC leading the way on this one. As for hands played it is not a "true stat" because it includes all games but the ft and wins just counts $$ tourneys but the ratios were still very good indicators of the type of player.

well regardless of how you ,I, or others feel on this topic. The truth still lies in what I said. And you cant deny that. My money says due to logic it will stay.

"feature" to the final table or "in the money" situations. others make it a user option. if you truly are so weak-minded and unsure that you will allow observer chat to affect your decision-making process simply turn off observer chat. chat amongst player in the hand is one more piece of information in a game of incomplete information. my real irritation is that there are dozens of real features that could make this site better and they choose this one... very lame. They have already stumbled their way throught this knee-jerk reaction to simply disable ALL chat during all-ins on ALL tables from start to finish. an ALL or NOTHING draconian approach is rarely the most logical answer. of course the first thing you should do in any problem-solving process. so what was the definited problem that this new "feature" is supposed to address??? collusion? annoyance to the players? what? experience has shown that limiting this

Andrew, i'm surprised at your somewhat narrow and apparently illthought position on the latest abomination on Spade Club - the "no chat during all-in". I've always maintained that online tournaments should as closely mirror brick and mortar tournaments as possible. There is a long-standing and almost universally accepted "Roberts Rules of Poker" that most tournament managers either simply use or use as the foundation of their tournament rules. Or since Spade Club is its infancy compared to

The all in chat block is brillant and is very long over due.
But...... this feature should be limited to the final table.
To many haters show up just to knock your game during the finals and are very willing to talk trash to convince other players to call your all in as well as convince the players that due to induce checking to the river. Might I remind everyone that this is a form of online cheating. And that whole reason alone is grounds enough for the all in chat ban to stand.
