It doesn't take 20 years, 200 hand 2000 hands 20000 hands. Playing solid poker is the key. The variability in the cards can be decreased as you become better at reading your opponents.
I am sorry I deleted your post by mistake. I am still trying to become familiar with the system.. I like your answer. If you play one long game of poker (say 20 years) the percentages (luck) evens out but if you hit the flush at the beginning of a tournament it doesn't mean as much as hitting it at the final table.
Hey PJ how can you be a poker player and not believe in luck. Sh__t happens.
