Poker>>what an easy game

For some reason I have a good feeling that I am going to win today.

.session #17 thur 8/6/09
.

I get to gold coast at 11pm and there is only 2 games going.2/4 with 7 players and a rock em sockem 4/8 shootout filled with gunslingers.I sit down on table #2 in the 3 seat and another player joins the frey so now we have 9 players.
Strangely there are only 2 reg players and only 3 that I have played with b4.
.

The pots are smallish and only 3 or 4 on avg see the flop.
.

1st 2 orbits I see 8 flops of nothing never get past the turn and have 82 chips left in my stack.
.

I get A9 L pos and limp in.An older oriental gentleman makes it $4 from the BB and 3 see the flop.
.

As 7d Kc (top pair bad kick) BB bets 2 and I call and we are heads up.I haven’t played with him b4 so I would like to check it down to see what he has but he bets out on the turn 4s and the river 8c and I call him down.

Obv he thought I was drawing without an ace but only a gut shot shows QJ J10 Q10 only draw hands.My observation is he does not pay attention to the texture of the board and just bets his own hand .He will also be a stubborn caller with a piece of the board.

The game lasted only 2 hours .I saw 29 flops and won 8 pots( all small) The good news is I won 54 scooters in the easiest poker night so far.

Session #18 sat 8/8/09

Sat is amateur nite with many new faces at the tables .Most don’t last long ,a lot of 40 & 60 buy in players who get lucky early or quit.I get the #5 seat at table two.I hate this seat because it is hard to see the whole table and hinders my observing the players. 3 seat and 7 seat are my favs. 2 seat & 8seat are next.

I come in utg and decide not to wait for the button to pass.The very next hand in the BB I get 76off

6 see the flop 4d 3h Ks( gutshot to nut str rainbow board.
.
For some reason This reminded me of a no limit hand I once played.Same flop and my opp had AK he made a small pooch please call me bet on the flop and I called hit the gutshot and busted him.

Don Juan bets out and 5 see the turn

Don Juan bets out again and I just know he has a K>>3 see the riv

Don juan proudly bets out again bee calls and I make it 8 to go figuring he has AK.He quickly put 12 chips out 3 betting me bee actually folds and I 4 bet him.He stares at the board and calls.

The dealer says to me” turn your 76 over”( which I do) and don juan lets his KQ fall to the felt.
.
A newbee to my right asks me how did the dealer know what u had? I said he was physic and I could see he though something was not right.He played for 20 mins lost 2 hands and quit.

Wow 1st hand nice fat pot on a de ja vu hand.
.

The game was very slow all night .Every hand took way longer than usual but again it was an easy nite for me.Never got a 2nd best hand .Never had to make any tuff decisions.Players were coming and going.Played for 4 hrs and I think the whole table turned over 3 times lol.
.

I bet we avg about 22-26 hands per hour usually its 30-34 per hour but I didn’t care.The table was full of laughter and I won my flagship hand and never looked back.
.

Ended up $92 ahead and really had a good time at the table.

Session #19 sun 8/9/09

Premiums can’t win
This nite was really offbeat and could make any good player quit poker.This was without a doubt the closest I have ever seen to internet poker.

This happened in 4 hrs of play about 120 hands of poker maybe 130
.

AA held up ONE time all nite when everyone folded on the turn
.

AA was dealt to someone 10 or 11 times in 4 hrs
.

KK was dealt>>>>>>>>>>.9 or 10 times
.

twice AA & KK were in the same hand >>KK won once and both got beat in the other
That was the only time KK won
.
All nite straights flushes 2 pair were beating the big pairs on the river.I couldn’t believe it.I haven’t had AA dealt to me in so long I can’t even remember .Tonite I had them 3 times and lost every time.

Ant bee( set up) was at our table and I raise with AA flop is 9d 3 h Kd I bet and ant bee calls
.

Turn is 9d 3h Kd 7c I bet and 3 of us see the river
.

9d 3h Kd 7c 4d( flush board) we check it down She has 94sc and wins with 2 pair lol
.

I get AhAd a few hands later and raise it up again and get 5 or 6 callers flop is

9c 8c 10c I check and muck my red aces actually relieved the flop let me fold.
.

This ended up being the biggest pot of the nite. 5 went to the showdown but I just couldn’t get 3 of the final hands

I get 54ss limp in 5 callers flop is 2s 3c 5d 4 see the turn for 1 bet

2s 3c 5d 5h and lol 4 see the river for 1 bet

2s 3c 5d 5h>>>> 5c ant fires for the 3rd time and after one caller I raise and called quickly by the 2 players and drag a big pot with my quads ant shows AA and the other ant shows KK.

This was an unraised pot preflop & turn with KK & AA out there

The very next hand I get AA again wtf ,raise and get 4 callers.
.
flop is Qc Qd ( 2c blah) I bet out and get 2 callers but I noticed a strange thing the ant did.After throwing his 2 chips in the pot he sits up and grabs a full stack of chips(20) and cuts the stack in half ready for the turn.
.
This was odd cause I have never seen him do that b4 or since.Helloooo gee do you have a queen?

The turn is
Qc Qd 2c 7d and I tap the table and the ant bets right out gets called and I dump my AA quietly in the muck river is 9h and the antchip bets out and gets raised by the other ant.He takes no time and spills 4 more chips in the pot calling him.

I was wrong about the Q but correct on my read

Ant chip turns over 22 for 2’s full and beats the other slowplay ant who has AQ
.

I am estatic.I get AA three times and only lose10+ 4 + 6= $20
.

Lets face it AA vs 4-5-6 callers loses most of it’s strength you need to improve them to win.You have maybe 2 cards in the deck and 4flush possibilities.

I crack AA again when my J9sh flops 2pair Js 9c 3s 4s K d he bet the whole way and I just called the whole way.We were buzzing about how many AA & KK got beat all night.I was here and I still couldn’t believe it.
.

The other pot I won was strange indeed.I had KJ off with the board Kc Jc 6h 9h Ad
.

I bet on the flop and turn but checked on the river The other 3 players ALL had two clubs in their hand and missed on the river.
.

I started to feel kinda tired and quit after 4 hrs $50 winner.
.
I was really happy about only losing $20 on my three AA losers I was dealt.
.
Man oh man what a crazy night of cards
.

Just to give u an idea about getting dealt AA 221/1 so in a 9 handed game it’s 221 div by 9 which is 1 in 27 deals or there abouts. Our table for 4 hrs was about 1 in 11.
