Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a crazy hand i had tonight. I was in the $75 tourney with about 175 people left. I was getting tired and not feeling like playing anymore, although I was sitting in 13th with about 8k. I took a beat the hand before and brought me to about 5500 in chips. Nothing to get mad about but I do sometimes TILT easily. So this is the controversial* hand. I had ATc, I raised about 3.5x in the deal possition. Small blind reraises about 3x what I had raised. I anounced to the table "GG, NH, I beleive it is a race and you will win." I pushed all in for 5500 total. He snap calls me with JJ. Well at this point im not even really hoping for cards to even keep me in the game. i just wanna get knocked out. The flop comes AAJ. I said to myself Oh NO! I dont not wanna suck out. The turn, A. The stone cold nuts. The player starts going off on me. "How do you go all in with ATc, your the worst player, how can you go all in!!" Well anyway i wanted to share this story with everyone and also to appologixe to "ImAllOut", he is the player i suched out on. Most people are not sorry when they such out, they say it but dont mean it. I do mean it because I had no intentions of puttng those chips to use. Instead i donked them away within about 5 min. So i am sorry "ImAllOut" for that sick suck out. GL in the future and Im sure Ill see you at a final table sooner than you think! Thanks to all who read my first blog. Sorry for rambling! G'Night all!

Your story is exactly what I was reffering to in my blog. Hold 'em isn't for criers. It's great that you felt like appoligizing but I see no need to at all. Some one who recently berated me for staying in with A 8 not suited because I won and he was out went all in on an A8 a few days later. I wondered silently why it was such a bad play when I did it and not when it worked out for him. So I say just play your hand if we all played in the generally accepted manner what would be the point?

You don't need to apologize....I think he was a jerk for going off on you...
Ace, ten was not a bad hand to go all in... he didnt have to call....
Plus, you're pic is gorgeous, so what was he thinking yelling at somebody as pretty as you :)

it's part of the game, no need to dedicate a post to appologizing for a suck out. If i appologized for every suck out I ever got I'd have about 400 posts

To be honest. I'm far from being a pro but I like your push better than his call. Unless he had seen you playing very loose, he should've put you on a big hand and folded. After all, you did make a first bet. I've been bitten holding JJ too long, for too much, far too many times, so I know of what I speak. Nice of you to apologize but once he went off on you, you should just ignore.

I personally like the ACE Ten suited. And in tournament poker you have to make a move sometime, I think he forced the all-in when he re-raised, so good job. And I love the pic.
