Keep heart bro and know you're kept in prayer and deepest wishes for your recovery and return Andrew
That really sucks man, ...I got really sick when I was 19 spent months in and out of the hospital and they never diagnosed what I had...I had lost fifty pounds in about four months and couldn't keep any food down..After literally dozens of clinical tests and copius bloodwork, they told my parents I must be addicted to drugs and discharged me when I weighed 114 pounds (I am 6'1) and my bloodsugar count was 30...
I got better slowly over time by never leaving my room for six months...Only smoking joints, eating, and sleeping...You have a really strong dispisition, I know you will be fine as long as you take good care of yourself..You should cut the alcohol and double the weed right away...All of our thoughts are with you buddy, keep faith in yourself that you are a strong person and nothing will keep you down...Just like you do with poker...Glad to call you a friend, get better real soon....
Hey Bro..we shared a lot with our frindships and emailsyou were a great unspiration for, helping learn ways of coping with my paralysis,If you need me for anything I am here for bro..Please keep me updated and let me know if i can help...OK bro...X
Doctors f&&k up just like the rest of us, only with more serious consequences. I hope it's your thyroid too, because a pill 1x a day and quarterly blood tests aren't bad at all, considering the alternatives. Best of luck to you - hope you will rejoin someday and raise the level of discourse again. :) GL, Susanne
When I was 35, my right side became almost completely paralyzed from my right eyebrow to my right toe.Best neourologist in NYC diagnosed it as physcosomatic. They wanted me to take heavy duty anti depression drugs. I said no way. It's real. it took some years, but now I just have a weak side. Last year I saw my exact symptoms diagnosed as a stroke. I had a CAT scan done. Yep, I'd had a stroke. So, hang in there. Rest, stay home away from added infection, drink lots of water, and pot is not a b
Dude, this may sound like an impossibility, BUT... Have your blood tested for high levels of the antibodies to wheat gluten. People with Celiac Disease (intestinal allergy to wheat gluten) can have any combination of a host of varying symptoms - but almost always weight loss - and many of them go months or years even undiagnosed and suffering. It is a simple test and it can be ruled out (if it has not been already) - or if you are positive, pretty easily reversed (just remove gluten from you
Wow , I really hate hearing you have to go thru so much.. Keep your spirits up.. Maybe you could still play poker( and smoke) while you are healing.. Maybe that will put your mind on the bad suc outs instead of your medical issues.. our prayers will be with you.. best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Tell Shifty to tell us all how you're doing, or just buy a damn month or something here, OK already??? You have to be missing us, don't you? Just a little bit?

Momma said "You've got to be strong,
keep your chin up when life does you wrong.
Build a fire inside you and burn out your pain,
'cause self-pity won't get you on your feet again.
And all your hard times are just fuel for your fire.
And one day, everyone will see it shine.
Yes, everyone will see you shine."
