Too Serious
By tampabobApr 27, 08 12:13 PM

I have enjoyed playing on this site, but I find that many of us (me included at times) take things a bit too seriously. Sure there is lots of money to be won and sometimes we feel shorted by a bad beat or a bad play or a bad player, but the cream always seems to rise to the top. I have been guilty of being all three at times, and I am sorry if I have offended anyone or caused them to go on tilt (lol). I am fully cognizant of the fact that play is going to be looser and more aggressive since we are playing with "funny money", so I don't get mad or take it seriously when I get beat. If there are pros here I think they handle it better than the amateurs. If they don't then they should be looking for high stakes cash games because we amateurs are not always going to play it by the book (sorry). I have been the victim of many all in draws which have hit, but I have learned to take it in stride. I may critique other's play but feel free to critique mine (many have - lol). I hold no animosity so know that it is "all good" as many have said when I bust them. Have fun at the tables and also know that I am happy for each and every one of you when you have a big win. Hope to see you soon at the tables. Bob
