POKER GAMES:
Used to play golf but 3 years ago exited the game I began in 1946. Had a 4-handicap in themid-1960s; won a couple club championships. But by age 71 (73 now) i had deteriorated to a 14 with 215-yard drives. We enjoy our Thanksgiving timeshare in Cancun.
POKER PLAYERS:
Interviewed Doyle Brunson right after his first WSOP triumph. We talked via phone (I was sports editor of the paper in Abilene, 40 miles from his home town and where he played college basketball). Got a 3/4 page feature out of it. He is an all right guy..

We used to frequent Vegas (20 years ago); tried a bunch of them but we old folks enjoyed the Four Queens best.
ACTIVITIES:
Now writing (published my second novel novel February10) and trying to keep our house from falling in on us. On internet, see ethanskeys.com.
MOVIES:
Reviewed about 1,500 as arts and entertainment writer/editor from 1987 to retirement in 2000. I saw very few decent ones. Classics are my cup of tea; like Singin' in the Rain, THe Oxbow incident, Shane, Red River, The Quiet Man, most Bogarts, Clint.
TV SHOWS:
Law and Order and that's about it. Watch mostly cable. Fox News is my key channel.
BOOKS:
Voracious fiction reader. My favorites are the late Dick Francis, John Lescroart, John Grisham, both young Nicholases (Evans and Sparks), .James Patterson; also many others I enjoy about as much.
MUSIC:
Wide range; love classics. Also good ol' (1954-63) rock 'n' roll. As a member of the trio The Picks, we ghosted backup vocals for the musician Crickets on early Buddy Holly hits My first novel (2003, Meet Me at the River Buddy Holly) had sex, golf, poker

i dont know how you got off my friends list here but ive been doing fair i have made 12 final tables here and won a 19.99 membership and have 6 red tokens and 8 blue and ill be here till march of next year regularly lol cash wins for me here so far is 33.00 cash lol+the 19.99
I made 3 final tables today and won a total of 23.00 , 2nd place in 10 $ turbo,Paid out 3.00, and 2nd place in 100.00 daily , paid out 20.00.. so i have game and play well and have won my first blue chip and now ranked 734 here so thanks for accepting my freindship request Robert bobcat , Avid card player and hustler lol

tmaple35, thanks for comments. Not a person of a lot of word but I just moved back to Florida after living in the Chicago area for 32 years. I have two grown kids, 1 son and 1 daughter. My other hobby is fishing both fresh water and salt.
one of my reasons for moving back here as there is no salt water up north and I don't do ice fishing. Hope to play again with you, your new friend Fastedy.
I'm 61 and I would take your 14 handicap and love it. Best game I ever played was a 83. Are breif conversation at the tablr was about my plane. I have had 7 of them. 77 Skyhawk, 78 182, 73 Chereekee 6, 76 Lance/ 68 Mooney, 78 Mooney and 98 Mooney. between 6500 and 7500 hours. Quit counting at 6200 hrs. Good health and luck.
